The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is a luxury hotel located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was opened on July 2, 2003, as one of three hotels built by Boyd Gaming, along with Harrah’s Resort and the Water Club.
History
The Borgata is situated at the intersection of Boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue, within walking distance to the beach and numerous other casinos. The hotel was designed by Klai Juba Ware Architects and features a unique blend of modern architecture with references to 19th-century Italianate styles. Construction on the hotel began casinoborgata.ca in August 2001 and took over two years to complete.
Upon opening, the Borgata quickly became known for its upscale amenities and attractions, including several celebrity-chef owned restaurants. The hotel has undergone renovations since then, introducing new rooms, bars, nightclubs, and entertainment venues.
